Lovely location with charming ambiance
The location was perfect for exploring lovely Ambleside, with easy access to local eateries and attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, making the stay delightful.
The walls were quite thin. I could hear occasional conversations from the neighboring rooms, which made sleeping a bit challenging at times. The bathroom was separate, requiring frequent trips across the hall.

absolutley disappoined with my stay. the electric lock was a nightmare, as I was rudely awoken by some random person trying to enter. not to mention the charming wet spot on the floor that kept growing, obviously an act of betrayal! i expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but apparently, this hotel only offers disarray.

The location is central with easy access to a variety of dining options, making it convenient for exploring everything the area has to offer. The family room was spacious enough, with two single beds and a queen, a pleasant setup that felt inviting without overcrowding the space.
Navigating the entry system with the codes was a hassle. they worked sporadically, often requiring multiple attempts. The bathroom arrangements weren’t ideal, being across the hall, which was inconvenient during late-night trips. Noise levels were a significant issue, especially on weekends when the nearby bar kept revelers lingering outside until the early hours. Parking was quite a trek from the hotel, not exactly what you want after a long day of adventures. the decor and maintenance might need a bit of attention, with some areas feeling fusty and tired.

Chur, the location was sweet as, right in the heart of town! But those thin walls made it hard to sleep with all the nearby noise. Still had a comfy bed.

Great location right above a lively bar, making it easy to dive into the local scene. The fan in the room was exceptional, providing much-needed relief during a very hot stay.
No lift for hauling luggage up the stairs, which can be a hassle if you're loaded down. The parking situation was a trek. the provided map could use some clearer street names, making it tougher to navigate. The room felt tight for two with two big suitcases and dim lighting due to a non-functional main lamp and a broken bulb on the nightstand. With a separate bathroom, it demanded unnecessary trips across the hall, adding to the hassle when you’re in a hurry.

the economy double room was lovely and clean. we had hot drinks replenished frequently, which was a nice touch. the manager was super helpful, giving us codes for entry that worked perfectly. the location is fantastic, close to everything we wanted to visit!
a mild critique is that it would be handy to receive entry codes by email as well.

entrance keypad was a bit tricky but got help from the staff, and the room was really hot with a window that wouldn't stay open.
